About the support association of the Tierparkgesellschaft Weißwasser e. V.
Founded on March 11, 1998, the support association pursues the goal of transforming the Weißwasser zoo into a modern and attractive system, which is a place of wellbeing for both animals and visitors. The main task is to support projects that realize this vision.
Innovation and the search for realization opportunities for new ideas in the zoo are in the foreground.
A contemporary animal park not only measures its enclosures and infrastructure, but also from its role in the educational and nature conservation area. The support association therefore supports species protection measures and contributes to public education through information work and publications.
In cooperation with the Weißwasser zoo and other institutions, the support association organizes lectures, excursions, tours and other educational events.
Our members enjoy diverse opportunities for active and sensible leisure activities, which also finds public recognition. Everyone can participate in the support association - whether individuals, children, young people or entire families. Become a member of the Weisswasser e. V. - it's worth it! You can get the application for admission directly from us in the zoo.

Dear animal lovers,
Do you regularly visit our zoo and have favorite animals where you like to linger? Why not take on a direct role in your care and well -being?
Through animal sponsorship, they contribute significantly to improve the living conditions of their favorite animals. The funds from the sponsorships are used directly for the animals.
Advantages of animal sponsorship:

- A name splash on the enclosure of your patent animal (optional),
